How do I get access?
Your company administrator provides access to its space. There is no public registration. After sign-in, you enter the company area linked to your account. Employees manage their own requests; managers handle employees and requests within their assigned permissions.
What is the system for?
Two things: submitting requests for different types of leave and recording sickness absence. Leave types and the requirements for each request follow the law and your company’s rules.
Does submitting a request mean I can start my leave?
Submitting a request does not automatically grant leave. Follow the procedure required for that type of leave and your employer’s rules, taking statutory exceptions into account.
Is sickness absence a type of annual leave?
No. It is a separate absence due to incapacity for work. It does not reduce annual leave entitlement and is not treated as a request for permission to take leave.
Does reporting an absence replace e-ZLA?
Recording an absence in the app does not replace a medical certificate or statutory obligations.
Should I state the cause of my illness?
Do not provide a diagnosis, symptoms or treatment history. Only data necessary to manage the absence should be processed. Do not send health data through the general contact form.
Company space administrators
Each company has its own administrator responsible for its space and employees. The company administrator contacts BackOffice to grant, change or revoke permissions. Do not submit passwords or employees’ medical data through the form.
