Smart long weekend calculator
Fewer leave days. More time for you.
Combine public holidays with leave and find out when you can take a longer break. Choose a year and the maximum number of leave days for one trip. The calculator compares dates and shows exactly which days to request.
Calculations apply to Poland and a Monday-to-Friday schedule with Saturdays and Sundays off. They include statutory public holidays, including Christmas Eve. Each option is a separate suggestion and the limit applies to one break. Results stay within the selected year. They do not account for individual schedules, additional company days off or your leave balance. A plan is not your employer’s approval of leave.
How to plan your trip well
First choose an option that fits your leave allowance. Then check your work schedule and agree the dates with your company. For a longer trip, sort by “Longest break”. To save leave, compare time off gained per leave day.
What do Polish rules say?
Polish Labour Code, Article 162At the employee’s request, leave may be split into parts. In that case, at least one part of the time off should last no fewer than 14 consecutive calendar days.
Polish Labour Code, Article 130 § 2Each public holiday falling within the reference period on a day other than Sunday reduces working time by 8 hours.
Leave dates are agreed with the employer under the applicable leave-planning rules. The calculator does not automatically assign days off in lieu of Saturday public holidays because their dates depend on the company’s schedule and reference period.
